4. Snapshots from Aceh Mosque Beach A least 7 tsunami waves surged up into the beach neighborhoods. The waters reached to the center of Banda and the great Mosque, carrying hundreds of corpses and tons of debris. Sunday beach goers, returning fishermen, morning market shoppers: all were swept away.

How To P.R.A.Y. for Aceh 1.Pray for “P” Teams – Prayer Network and Prayer Warriors The National Prayer Network has organized a massive interdenominational coalition to send aid and ministry teams to Aceh from the nearest large city, MEDAN, North Sumatra. 2. Pray for the “R” teams – Resident field workers About a dozen long-term field workers survived the waves. They speak the local dialect and know the needs intimately. 3. Pray for the “A” teams – Aid delivery from many nations. Many Muslims will be shocked by the kindness of the West. 4. Pray for the “Y” teams – Teams sharing about “Yesus” or Isa-al-Masih (Jesus the Messiah) with Muslims. Seminaries, churches, and mission teams are sending workers to this harshest Muslim region to share the gospel.
