9 WCE 1st Year Achievements An AHRC Cultural Engagement Fund awarded for an early- career researcher to work with Birmingham Repertory Theatre; an ESRC Collaborative Doctoral Award for impact work with Birmingham Repertory Theatre; and an ESRC Collaborative Doctoral Award for work with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Initiative taken to establish a Warwick Commission on the Future of Cultural Value. It will draw on the Warwick Creative Exchange to provide an informal sub-group of cultural producers to help support the work of the Commissioners and ensure their perspective is given a prominence so far lacking in policy debates. The involvement of cultural producers is a marker of the Commissions original contribution to the debate on the value of culture.
