2. Rosa Parks -She was the woman that started the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
-She refused to give up her seat to a white passenger.
-The whites were able to sit in the front and the blacks weren’t.
-She was arrested on Feb. 22,1956.

3. The Refusal
-The reason that Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat was because she was tired.

4. What is the Montgomery Bus Boycott?
-Blacks were not being treated equally on the local buses so they went on strike, and refused to ride the buses.
-And this caused the bus companies to lose a lot of money.
