2  The French and Indian War was part of a wider European conflict known as the Seven years War which pitted England and Prussia against France, Austria, Russia and Spain.  The French and Indian War was concluded by the Treaty Of Paris of February 10, 1763. It was signed by England, France, and Spain.

3  The Seven Years' War was a major military conflict that lasted from 1756 until the conclusion of the treaties of Hubertusburg and Paris, in 1763 all of the major European powers of the period.  It has been described as the "first World War".  It resulted in some 900,000 to 1,400,000 deaths and significant changes in the balance of power and territories of several of the participants.

4  The Treaty of Paris, often called the Peace of Paris, or the Treaty of 1763, was signed on 10 February 1763, by the kingdoms of Great Britain, France and Spain, with Portugal in agreement.  It ended the French and Indian War.  Notably, the treaty did not involve either Prussia or Austria who signed a separate Treaty of Hubertusburg.
