6.  Saying It For Myself, v. 12  “Give Me” leads me down a sad road.  Saying It To Myself, v. 17-18a  “I Perish...” at least states reality.  Take Stock of My “Christian” Actions. 2 Cor 13:5  Saying It Against Myself, v. 18b-21  “I Have Sinned... I am not worthy...”  Here is the moment God steps in. God is worthy.

8.  Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, And your labor for that which does not satisfy? Isaiah 55:2 RSV  Is there more?  V 1 - Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

9.  Cannot be filled with this world.  Even when we are in fellowship with God on this earth!  Psalm 5:3 – David – “In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.”  But his imaginings are more than life can offer! Best he has is worship and being led.

10. I was made for another world. One that I can almost imagine, A world lost, Adam and Eve’s world, A perfect Eden. Never forget that!

11.  Reach Forward, as Paul Reached, Phil. 3  Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the Lord, while He may be found...”  Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness...”  Colossians 3:1 – “Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above where Christ is...”

12.  Is not all we need.  Isa 53:3 – the world is so broken, He could only be the “Man of Sorrows and familiar with suffering.”  We dare not forget who we are, where we are from and where we are going. Reach beyond the joys of your family, the treasures of this church to satisfy your longing.
