11. 10 MAY 03 11 Governance POCs: DART: Dr. Eric Rasmussen; Cell: (965) 986-1740; ericrasmussen@carebridge.org United Nations elements POCs: NGO Community Leads: Water  Water treatment plant near airport now running  Still dependent on sporadic power, however Medical  Primary concern is unpredictable power outages  Generators in use for brownouts  Secondary worry is fuel shortages  Security situation improving  Garbage collection continues Information as of 10 May 2003 UXO Clearance  Humanitarian assistance UXO removal operations will begin in Baghdad in near future. Finances  Over 9,000 Iraqi civil servants at 12 locations in Baghdad received emergency payments Friday. Personnel at 2 remaining locations were paid Saturday.
