2 Training Aim is to model professional knowledge and skills needed for performing a rescuer’s daily activities. Training Tasks: 1. To model knowledge of : - land navigation; - basics about life support at emergency situations; - technical characteristics of equipment, machinery, tools, appliances; - storage and maintenance precautions of equipment, tools and devices used during the rescue actions; - storage and maintenance precautions of protection means; - operation precautions of communication and information devices; - lifting work rules; - characteristics and operation of compressed air apparatus; - main ways of fire extinguishing; - rules of compressed air apparatus work; - ways and execution sequence of rescue actions; - reconnaissance actions; - rescue actions procedure at specific dangerous conditions; - ways of victims searching; - evacuation of victims and population; - work safety rules and instructions; - best ways to move in different conditions; - methods and techniques of extraction of victims from the rubble, the damaged vehicles from the upper floors of collapsed buildings; - methods of rendering first aid to victims in emergency situations.

3 Training Tasks: 2. To model skills of : - land navigation; - performing rescue actions at emergency conditions of natural or industrial disaster; - conducting a search of victims, using both improvised and special equipment; - disassembly of blockages; - evacuation of victims and population from danger zone; - working with rescue tools and equipment, fire extinguishing means, mountaineering means; - lifting and handling works; - working in changing conditions of natural and industrial character; - first medical aid rendering. Training Methods: - Elements of problem-specific training; - gaming technology, in which students are involved in the business, role-playing, simulation games, implemented on a practical training at the Training Area.
