The help with distribution of drugs. They compete with Cigna’s mail order & Specialty pharmacies. They adjudicate claims & help carriers/ employers control costs. Some of Cigna’s clients carve out this service to CVS Health. They help clients manage medical cost. This could become competition for Cigna.

Use and distribution limited solely to authorized personnel. © 2015 Cigna CVS value prop aligns very closely to Cigna's - delivering breakthrough products and services to increase access to care, improve health outcomes, and lower overall health care costs. It tries to look at the holistic approach to the individual, and better management of their health, which is exactly what we are trying to do. Some financial analysts list Cigna as a direct competitor of CVS. We want to look at their expertise in the retail pharmacy space and continue to stay ahead of them. If we want to keep the revenue stream from our mail order pharmacy we need to enhance our benefit design ( in states that will allow us) to incent customers to purchase their drugs through our mail order, especially specialty medications. Cigna's value prop is still about integration and the full package of benefits we can provide, and they still mainly focus on pharmacy services and fulfillment
