THE FATHER’S INTENTION FOR HIS CHURCH Ephesians 4:11-12 Amplified Bible 11 And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers. 12 His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christs body (the church),

Ephesians 4:13-14 Amplified Bible 13 [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [ full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him. 14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine,...

YOU ARE A FINISHED WORK! Colossians 1:21-22 NLT You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. 22 Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. 2 Corinthians 5:18 ESV For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

THE OLD MAN was put to death in Christ Romans 6:6-7 Wuest translation 6 knowing this experientially, that our old [unregenerate] self was crucified once for all with Him in order that the physical body [heretofore] dominated by the sinful nature might be rendered inoperative [in that respect], with the result that no longer are we rendering a slave's habitual obedience to the sinful nature, 7 for the one who died once for all stands in the position of a permanent relationship of freedom from the sinful nature. Romans 6:7 Amplified Bible For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men].

You have been raised up with a NEW NATURE! 2 Corinthians 5:17 Amplified Bible Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! Colossians 2:9-10 Wuest NT because in Him there is continuously and permanently at home all the fullness of absolute deity in bodily fashion. And you are in Him, having been completely filled full with the present result that you are in a state of fullness in Him who is the head of every principality and authority.
