2 Steps for Numbered Heads Together  1. Everyone thinks about how to answer the question (room is quiet)  2. Everyone works on the problem individually, on their board, and boxes in their final answer (room is quiet). Stand when you are done (keeping your board to yourself).  3. Heads Together: When Everyone in the group is standing teammates share their answer. Discuss and teach if necessary so everyone knows how to solve the problem. Then the group sits down.  4. Who answers? Teacher will randomly call a number (1,2,3,4) if it’s your number you will stand. The teacher will decide how students will respond (one student, choral response)
