Use Suggest or Thesaurus function to find appropriate descriptors –select single terms –explode terms (includes all narrower terms) 3. Search word or phrase in most important subject fields simultaneously –key in fields manually (term in ti,de,cx) –change fields searched to "In Subject" 4. Use the available limit fields
