4. Presentation Tips
Show up early – being late will only add to the stress
Tell a story
Make eye contact
You can move around, but don’t pace too much
Be familiar with your slides – don’t just read them, talk about them and the content on them (also, don’t read from notecards)
Speak clearly and with sufficient volume
Don’t go too fast – you have more time than you think
Don’t put too much information on any one slide – make sure the content is readable (use font size 22 minimum if possible, except where presenting flowcharts or tables)
You can use humor, but avoid the use of cartoons, as this is a formal project presentation
