16 Sound Bytes – PRSSU, Chhattisgarh My Views on Saksham I was, you can say almost illiterate in computers. Here in Microsoft Saksham workshop I have learnt computers. It was explained in systematic & detailed manner that even most computer experts are not able to explain it so well. It boosted my confidence and workshop has evoked curiosity in me for ICT. Knowledge gets multiplied when shared; it has been famously said. Whatever I have learnt here, I will share with my colleagues in college. They will be linked under NME ICT programme too. The mentoring plan implementation will involve working in group, within specific timeline will be another achievement for us. This will be second achievement of this workshop. The third important point is somehow we have other learnings’ as well; these are going to help us not only in mentoring but also in other life situations for eg. SCAMPER chapter provides some clues on how to solve problems. If we see problems in scientific manner with scientific temperament then we will be able to get better results and can come up with better solutions. In this manner this workshop has given us three dimensional learning by which we will be able to take our teaching, research and environment in new path. Mr. Rajesh Shukla Asst. Prof.- History Govt. 17 Microsoft Saksham workshop, which I attended at academic staff college, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University from 12 Dec to 22 Dec 2011 is quite useful for me. The workshop not only helps me in learning mentoring process but also in learning the use of ICT in education and research. In this workshop I learnt use of Microsoft word, MS-excel, Power Point presentation and use of internet in academic field in general and economics in particular. Dr. Ravindra Brahme SoS in Economics Pt. RSU Raipur E-mail: ravindrabrahme@live.comravindrabrahme@live.com mob- 09827110259 Sound Bytes – PRSSU, Chhattisgarh

18 The program was very informative, many of the basic features of the Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel were taught. The networking skills were learnt through creating Hotmail id, Skydrive usage etc. Mentoring skills were very useful for us as it will help us to plan the schedule keeping in mind the time management, reflection, and next step planning. Priyamvada Associate Professor School of Psychology pt.RSU

19 My views on Microsoft Saksham: I have learned many things in this program 1. Basic learning of MS office. 2. How to develop capacity building with IT champion 3. How to store the data on sky drive 4. How to achieve our goal with different level of planning 5. Develop mentoring skill Best Wishes Kamlesh Shukla Lecturer, SoS in Biotechnology Pt.
