1 One: Jesus said ... “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”
(Matthew 4:10)

2 Honor and majesty surround him; strength and joy fill his dwelling.
Many: Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise!     He is to be feared above all gods.  The gods of other nations are mere idols,     but the Lord made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround him;     strength and joy fill his dwelling. (1 Chronicles 16:25-27)

3 One: Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth
One: Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. (Psalm 100:1-2)

4 Many: Let the whole earth sing to the Lord
Many: Let the whole earth sing to the Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.  Proclaim his glorious deeds among the nations.Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. (1 Chronicles 16:23-24)

5 One: God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
(John 4:24)

6 Many: O nations of the world, recognize the Lord,     recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong.
Give to the Lord the glory he deserves!     Bring your offering and come into his presence. Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor. (1 Chronicles 16:28-29)

7 One: Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.   (Romans 12:1)

8 Many: Let all the earth tremble before him
Many: Let all the earth tremble before him. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Tell all the nations, “The Lord reigns!” (1 Chronicles 16:30-31)

9 Together: It is good to give thanks to the Lord,  to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night.   (Psalm 92:1-2)
