2 What is a National Chapter Award? The National Chapter Award is designed to award local FFA Chapters who actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. The standards are organized into the three divisions of the Program of Activities: student development, chapter development, and community development. Based off the Chapter’s POA, the chapter is recognized in established areas called “quality standards”.

3 Award Categories State Superior Chapter Award State Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards –Earned by chapters that supply additional information about three activities in each division. State judges score these activities to determine the exact award level. Three-Star, Two-Star and One-Star: National Level Award –Chapters that receive the State Gold Award advance for national judging. Model of Innovation Awards –Presented to the 10 top-scoring finalist Three-Star Gold chapters in each division. The top-rated middle grade chapter is also recognized. National Winner

4 State Superior Chapter Award Earned by chapters that complete and document at least one activity related to each of the 15 quality standards. To apply for recognition. The chapter must complete Form I verifying that members have completed at least one activity related to each of the five quality standards established within the three divisions: student, chapter and community development Recognition is a certificate

5 State Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards –Earned by chapters that supply additional information about three activities in each division. State judges score these activities to determine the exact award level. –All chapters that achieved superior chapter are eligible for this award –Judges determine level of awards –Recognition is a plaque or plaque addition on stage at SLC

6 Three-Star, Two-Star and One-Star: National Level Award Chapters that receive the State Gold Award advance for national judging. –Recognition is a plaque or plaque plate to be used over multiple years

7 Model of Innovation Awards –Presented to the 10 top-scoring finalist Three- Star Gold chapters in each division. The top- rated middle grade chapter is also recognized.
