1 Christmas Work Party 2010 Bob and I attended the Pechanga Tribal Government’s Christmas party last year. It was a lot of fun and we had a nice dinner to boot but I didn’t win anything. They raffle off all sorts of things— TVs, iPods—but I usually don’t win big things, just little things. Oh, well, it was still fun. And I’ve lost 10 pounds since this picture was taken—hooray! Now I’m struggling to keep it off! Bits & Pieces Aunt Mickey sent me some old pictures of the family. (Please see the second sheet of this letter.) I really enjoy having old family pictures like these, and she was very kind to share them with me. If anyone wants a print, just let me know. I also have a Family Tree typed up from information Aunt Mickey gave me. I will also be happy to share it if anyone would like it. We should all stay in touch and share our history. I would love to have any family information you have and I will add it to our Family Tree. :o) Here is a picture of me and my zany officemates having some Halloween fun. We had a blast and also did a Flash Mob at the Halloween pot luck. Our son, Gregg, received another award this year. He really is a great teacher. This one is the award for Outstanding Contributions To Education from the Orange County Department of Education. We are so proud of him. If you want to hear some wonderful classical guitar music, go to this website. Gregg http://www.youtube.com/user/ServiteGuitar

2 Merry Christmas, I hope you had a good 2011. Bob & I had a quiet year, which is something to be thankful for. Bob is still dealing with many sports-related aches and pains, but his doctor has most of them under control. And I only had some teeth/gum issues. That has always been my biggest problem. My daughter Denise is still back in Chicago living at an apartment with two jobs. Duke is getting old; he is turning grey just like our previous dog Molly did. We give him ½ a pain pill every morning and that seems to be doing the trick for him. Gracie (a boxer), who is living with Gregg and Erica now, is having some major back leg problems that are related to the attack by two dogs some years ago. Gregg and Erica just try and keep her pain free now, and will face the inevitable when she no longer seems happy. Katie (another boxer) seems to be doing well. Our house in Naperville was “done over” this past year. They really went to town as you can see from these pictures. I thought it was perfect the way it was, but I guess the new people wanted a second bathroom, extra bedroom, larger master suite, etc., etc., etc.—all the new “must haves.” Have a very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year! Love you, Micki MY HOUSE NEW HOUSE DUKE
