1. Kitchen Rules!
 Please follow these rules to have a fun as well as safe and sanitary lab! Thank you!!
(By not following these rules you are subject to leave the kitchen for an alternate assignment)

2. Be Safe! Please don’t run
Please keep your hands to yourself (includes towels, equipment, utensils, food, etc…)
Please be safe around hot surfaces and use pot holders
Please keep all pot and pan handles turned inward
Please work safely with others…do not point knives or other sharp objects at others

3. Be Sanitary! Please wash your hands with hot water and soap
Please put long hair back
Please do not chew gum
Please do not “cross contaminate”

4. Follow Directions! Please read and follow your recipe
Please listen and follow all teacher directions
Unless you have permission, please stay out of the refrigerator or other unauthorized areas

5. Leave it CLEANER than you found it!
Please wash and dry your dishes
Please clean your table and chairs
Please sweep under your table
Please put your dirty towels in the washer or hamper

6. Practice Time & Resource Management!
Follow a time schedule
Start and finish on time
Do not misuse equipment or cooking supplies
Do not waste ingredients

7. Work as a Team! Cook together Clean together Share tasks
Be respectful to each other!
