2 Descriptive Essay Assignment Think of your favorite place to eat. Describe your favorite meal at this place so that someone reading your paper will know what makes it your favorite. You should include 3 or 4 details that will really give your reader a sense of why this is your favorite meal!
3 THINGS TO CONSIDER All essays must be five paragraphs. Each body paragraph must have 5 sentences.All essays must be written in blue or black ink.Do not skip lines between paragraphs.Spelling and grammar will be graded.All essays are due on January 16, 2009.
4 Characteristics of a Good Descriptive Essay Create a picture in your reader’s mind.Give as much detail as possible.Tell your reader everything they need to know.Paint a picture with words.

7 Organization is Key Introduction - 3-5 sentences, introduce topic Body paragraphs - 5 sentences each, decide how you want to organize these. Have a plan!!Conclusion sentences, wrap up everything!
