9. T = Take Notes Write notes on the right side of the page. -Abbreviate and Paraphrase -Skip at least one to two lines between each idea.

10. A = Apply your Thinking Within 24 hours of taking your notes, review your notes and write questions on the left side of page.

11. R = Reflect on Notes Within 24 hours, add a summary to your notes at the bottom half of the paper.

12. R = Revise the Notes Compare notes with classmates or textbook for items you might have missed.
