2 1-28-14: Read page 567 and write down 6 important facts about E. A. Robinson. Present or turn in Black Out Poems – 10 points extra credit for reading them in class. Read “Richard Cory” and “Miniver Cheevy”

3 1-29-14: Read the author information page, and write down 6 important facts about James Thurber. (These are class sets – please don’t write on them.) Present or turn in Black Out Poems or any other make up work. Read “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”

4 1-30-14: List 3 different types of people Walter imagines he is during the course of the story. Write a page describing a scene from an imaginary job that you want to have – astronaut, musician, artist, race car driver – something like that. Be very descriptive.
