Leviathan – wrote people were naturally cruel, greedy and selfish. ii.“Absolute Monarchy” was the best form of government to bring order (John) Calvin and (Thomas) Hobbes Depiction of Leviathan in Old Testament. Title of Hobbes’ book about greedy and cruel human nature.
