Pronouns First, before we learn French, Let’s make sure we remember what English pronouns are. Here’s a quick and easy review
Let’s begin… What are pronouns? Pronouns are used to replace peoples’ names. Subject pronouns are either singular or plural.
English subject pronouns Some subject pronouns we use all the time are: I, you, he, and she (singular) They, we, and you (plural)
Let’s look at two examples Pierre Instead of saying… Pierre is a detective. We can replace Pierre with a subject pronoun and say… He is a detective.
Or, using a plural subject pronoun… Jack Jill Instead of saying… Jack and Jill are learning. We can say… They are learning.
