5 Materials Needed Source: www.rightmyerrants.blogspot.com  A campfire  1 box Graham crackers  1/2 milk chocolate candy bar per person  1 bag of large marshmallows  Long, sharpened stick or cooking fork

6 Step 1 Warning: Do not use accelerants to start your fire.  Build a campfire with natural wood.  Wood should be dry.  Wood should be free from paint or preservatives.

7 Step 2 Split Graham cracker long scored line  Unwrap a package of Graham crackers.  Snap a Graham cracker in half along the scored line in the middle  Set the two crackers aside

8 Step 3 Place chocolate piece on one half of split Graham crackers.  Unwrap the chocolate bar.  Snap off a piece that is the same size as one half of the Graham cracker.  Place the candy on top of one of the Graham crackers and set aside

9 Step 4 NOTE: If using a stick, make sure it is green, the bark is stripped off and the end is whittled so the marshmallow is skewered for its whole length Source: realgoodwine.net  Open the bag of marshmallows  Place one or two marshmallow on the end of a long cooking fork or sharpened stick

10 Step 5 Source: Watscookingamerica.com  Roast the marshmallow by rotating a stick or long cooking fork 3-12 inches over the fire.  After 4-5 minutes of heating, the marshmallow will expand and the outside will begin to brown and get crispy.

11  Continue to rotate the marshmallow slowly until the desired crispiness is achieved  Be careful not to keep the marshmallow in the fire too long as it will overcook and can burst into flames Step 5

12 Step 6  Place the cooked marshmallow on top of the chocolate. The cooked marshmallow will melt the chocolate

13 Step 7 Source: www.Rentonatrio.net  Cover the marshmallow with the second Graham cracker to make a sandwich  Hold both pieces of the Graham cracker and push gently.  Once it melts a bit, gently pull the stick or the long cooking fork off of the marshmallow
