WCC: Girl Scout Patch Led by Fran Kravitz & devoted team Motivation: Girl Scouts needed a merit badge or patch for chemistry Chicago WCC developed a program of lectures, experiments, and discussions with women chemists Coordination with Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana led to approval for patch program Funded by ACS Innovative Project Grant Named after Marie Curie 30 girls earned patches in 2011!
