Warm-up Day 1 1. Write an equation for a line containing points (-4, 2) and (6, 8) in point slope form. 2. Write an equation of a line with a slope of 4 containing the point (-2, 6) in slope-intercept form.
Test Format Part 1: Listening - Your review worksheet will have a list of vocabulary words to study from. - I will give you the vocabulary word and you will need to draw a picture representing what I say.
Test Format Part 2: Multiple Choice - First 3 questions are multiple choice given a picture. - Then 7 questions where you match the theorem or postulate to a definition. - The next 5 questions are True of False questions. - Be careful they will not be the exact same questions from your study guide. Make sure you understand the information not just whether the answer is true or false.
Test Format Part 3: Free Response - These questions reflect what you see on your study guide. - You will need to know vocabulary as well as computations.
Test Format Part 4: Written Portion - This comes from section 2.2 - I will give you a conditional statement. - You will then have to write the converse, inverse, and contrapositive statements. - There are two different conditional statements to complete.
Test Format Part 5: Vocabulary - Make sure you know your equation formulas as well as different types of slopes!
Work On Review Worksheet We will go over it tomorrow. This needs to be finished for tomorrow. Whatever you do not finish today needs to be done as homework. Tomorrow you will be given your homework packet to put together too.
Part IV: Written Portion 38. Write the converse, inverse, and contrapositive statement for the given conditional statement. **On test you will have 2 conditional statements to complete. Conditional: If the movie is long, then I will fall asleep. Converse:______________________________________ Inverse: Contrapositive:
Review Worksheet Part IV: Vocabulary Know the different types of slope. Also, know the different ways to write an equation. - Ex. Point-slope form
Reminder Homework Packets are due Tomorrow!!!
