When Dr. King was a little boy he live in Atlanta, Georgia. His community was called Sweet Auburn. He liked to play football with the other boys and he did not care about what color their skin was. He just wanted to play some good old fashion football. I live in Salisbury, Maryland and I like to play football too.

Like Dr. King as a boy, we are pranksters too!

The Pemberton Poetry Panda Kids wrote a speech about peace

My Speech is called Little Martin’s Big Dream by Jazyon Moss Good evening Americans! Good evening Fruitland Maryland! Today is a great day to be happy and sing, In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King. Dr. Martin Luther King dreamed of peace as a boy, as he would play with other boys and girls and his toys. He fought the battle with peace and not with knives, guns, name calling, being a bully or hate, I think that was awesome, spectacular and just great. I want Dr. Kings “I have a dream” to live on and on and on, until all hate is done and gone. Every day I dream this dream you see, until everyone around the world is happy and free.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A Boy with Peace in His Heart Speech by Malik Walker Good evening everyone! Peace begins with a smile. Peace begins with saying hello and how is your day? Peace begins with people getting together who are different. Peace begins with saying I am sorry for hurting your feelings. Peace begins with not causing you pain because of the color of your skin. Peace begins with not causing you harm by calling you a bad name. Peace begins with helping others when they are sad. Peace begins with not looking at all of the wrong things a person does. Peace begins with always telling the truth. Peace begins with learning to accept everyone’s diversity. Peace begins with honesty and trust. Peace begins with showing cooperation and respect. Peace in my community begins with me! A Boy with peace in his heart like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. can change the world.

Dr. Martin Luther King: A Boy Who Had Fun By Ka’Myra Lawrence Little boys come in all shapes, colors and sizes. Martin was a little boy who had dreams, was curious and liked to explore. Martin was a little boy who knew how to play a prank. Martins was a little boy who love to sing in the church choir. Martin was a little boy who liked to play football and have scuffed up knees. Martin was a little boy who like to play the piano. Martin was an adventurous little boy. Martin was a little boy who didn’t care what color your skin was, he would still play with you, regardless. Martin was a little boy with peace, love and caring in his heart. Martin was a boy who saw unfair laws for some people. Martin was a little boy who had a big dream to make the world a better place to live in for all people, not just some people. Martin grew up into a big man, with big words of peace and kindness. Martin dreams of peace as a boy were fulfilled. So let’s not got back in time and hate one another. Dr. King would be so very sad. So let’s love, love, love and love each other with peace and kindness.

The End! Peace!
