2. VBS 2009-2010 St.Marks I worked 20 hours at my church for one week during the summer helping kids learn the word of god. I was a volunteer working in arts and crafts were we told them a bible verse from the new testament and then did a craft each day to go along with it. We helped around 200 kids under the age of 10 to learn more about the bible in ways that it keeps their interest.

3. How this helped me? What I got out of this is having fun with kids, and realizing even kids that are in kindergarten can learn about the bible through fun crafts and songs. It also helped the young kids learn about god and have fun with the bible.
