3 Resources We will create online resources designed to help young people (aged 7-16) develop their mathematical creativity, together with supporting material.

4 Inspiration There will be public lectures, videos and other material to show the importance of creativity in mathematics and inspire young people to be mathematically creative

5 What it’s not… Not about the maths within creative subjects, rather the creativity inherent within the discipline of mathematics

6 Preliminary ideas Environments for creativity – contexts where children can explore and come up with interesting mathematical ideas Scaffolding – providing children with models of what it means to be mathematically creative
