2 ABOUT Established in 2003, f3 sheetmetal is a limited company based in the East Midlands with exports to clients all across Europe, producing a variety of sheetmetal products to match the customers needs, with reputable clients entrusting us with constant work, you can be sure high quality service is guaranteed. Every member of the f3 Sheetmetal team participates in the drive for excellence. Together as a team we constantly work to deliver more value to our customers. F3 has its own large manufacturing centre covering 25,000ft2 housing cutting edge sheetmetal and tooling facilities operated by some of the most experienced and skilled technicians in the country.

5  Not one design is the same. Our experienced design department can take a design of any type, whether a detailed mockup or a basic concept, our team will evolve your idea by applying their own skills and industry knowledge into a 3D mockup using state of the art software. Constant communication is key, and our design department will remain in regular contact with the client to ensure that the final product satisfies their needs completely.  F3 uses state of the art Radan software alongside market leading 2D and 3D design packages to create a visualised mockup of any product. Using this we can analyse every single component in the product, showing the materials used and what the internal workings look like.  Our software exports directly to our machines, meaning that you can be sure no errors arise in the transfer of design stage to manufacturing stage. 7  Folding is the process of bending the materials. These can be sharp bends or rounded. We have a variety of different tools to meet your material and individual requirements. We use Wila and Eurostar tooling methods. 8  At F3 we have four insert machines of which two are Haeger, which are state of the art touch screen interactive machines, allowing us to set the required pressures to suit the job. Insert machines are used normally to put hinges in, squash pins, studs and stand offs. We have a variety of tools and thickness to meet your needs. INSERT MACHINES

9 Welding is the process of fusing two metals together with a smooth join. We offer a variety of different types of weld.  Spot Welding  MIG  TIG  Fettling (clean) WELDING

10  Before painting we put our metals in a prep tank to degrease them. During this process we apply a protective phosphate anti rusting coating.  The type of painting we use is powder coating. We also have the facility to screen print. PAINTING

11  We have the facilities to manufacture almost anything from Sheet metal and tube, out of a vast range of materials, including mild (CR4), zintec, galvanised, and stainless steels, aluminum, brass, or copper, plastic coated materials.  Our manufacturing control allows us to operate to provide the best client service, whether your requirements are for just in time processing (JIT), Kanban deliveries, or a fully collated and packaged product, coordinated with other outside contractors.  These products can then be finished to your requirements, electro plated, powder coated, stove enamelled, polished, or just left natural, products can also be screen printed to add that finishing touch.
