1 The Illad "Achilles"  his mother in effort to make him immortal takes him to the Styx River and dipped him.  Prince of Phthia, leader of the Myrmidon contingent, son of Peleus and Thetis,  greatest warrior involved in the Trojan War.  Paris of the Trojan shot an arrow in the heel of the Achilles and he died

2 The Illad "Achilles"  Dealing with his rage is the central action of the epic,  he sacrifices many of his allies is pride, refusing to fight because of an insult to his honor,  his movement from rage and wrath and finally recognition is the heart of the Iliad.
