After you have installed Clarity you are required to activate your software. The first step is to choose the directory where the license keys will be stored. If you are over a network with multiple users the license file should be stored in a shared folder.
After you have installed Clarity you will need to activate the product. For users of Clarity there two available options. If you are an existing client and have your serial number available select the first option.
Clarity will not start if the software had not been activated. An error message will appear warning of an incomplete registration. You will need to activate your Clarity if you get this screen.
To activate online fill out the serial number, company name and e-mail address in the appropriate fields. This information will be used to verify information provided on record, ensure that the information provided is accurate.
Serial numbers and Activation keys can be located on our website after you have logged into your Clarity account. Your products table will display all the products that you are entitled to for use with the software as well as the details about the modules your application is licensed for. Once your have entered your serial number and company information the follow screen will appear to inform you that the online activation of your product is now complete. You may begin to use your payroll software.
To activate by fax click on the appropriate link on the activation window.
If you chose to activate Clarity via fax, enter the requested information into the appropriate fields. This information will be used to send the unlock key and should be inputted accurately. To proceed with the fax activation click the Request Unlock Key by Fax – print Fax link.
A print preview screen will pop up with information used to verify your activation. This sheet must be faxed unaltered to Clarity to continue the activation. Note that client reply information is not included and must be provided to receive the activation codes.
After you have faxed the document to Clarity you will receive an email or fax in return that contains two keys. It is important that you apply the keys in the order they are provided. Once you have entered the keys the application is ready for use.
To review your activation license click on Help and then License Information. The License Viewer will display activated modules, country, language, demo periods, and the maintenance year that the product is registered. At the end of every year Clarity will provide you with a new activation key to update the maintenance year.
Input the Activation Key provided from the CD, website and click OK to renew the maintenance year. Once your maintenance year has expired you will be required to enter a new activation key to continue using Clarity. To do this in the License Viewer click on Activation Key.
