There wasn’t really a first “Movie” but the first motion picture was a short film called The Horse In Motion . The first home movie was Roundhay Garden Scene .

6 Charles Jenkins invented a mechanical television system called radio vision and claimed to have transmitted the earliest moving silhouette images on June 14, 1923.
