3 FAQ on Bottled Water 1.Isn’t bottled water safer than tap water? - No (unless your tap water is unfit or you do not have access to potable water) - 25% of bottled water is just tap water in a bottle, sometimes further treated, but not always

4 2. How can I find out where my bottled water comes from? - it’s not always easy, if the label says from municipal or community water supply, it’s tap water- otherwise check with the company

8 Mineral Water – bottled water that contains 250 ppm total dissolved minerals – helpful for digestion problems Spring Water – comes from a naturally occurring spring that is pumped to the surface – goes through treatment for pathogens

9 Sparkling Water – added carbon dioxide and are classified as soft drinks Carbonated Water – natural carbonation from a ground source – helps with digestions but contains a lot of sodium Distilled Water – completely purified, no minerals so good for appliances – not for human consumption
