2. To begin… Read the entire lab sheet before continuing with this virtual lab so that you will be familiar with the procedures used. The following slides take you step-by-step through the procedure. You will need to make your own data table for this lab. Be sure to use a ruler to make straight lines and to record all data requested.

3. Step 1 This is the candle that will be used in the lab. It has been prepared as instructed in step 1.

5. Step 3 The water was measured out using a 100-mL graduated cylinder. When making your reading, be sure to estimate between the lines and read from the bottom of the meniscus!
