3 What does God demand? ► Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV) 37 Jesus replied: ”‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

4 What does God demand? 1. That we love him above all things! 2. That we love our neighbor as ourselves!

5 What does God demand? ► 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NIV) 13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

6 What does God demand? 1. That we love him above all things! 2. That we love our neighbor as ourselves. 3. That we love with thoughts, words and actions.
