If you have difficulty picking a genre, list at least 5 books/movies you like, and write down what it was about them that you enjoyed. 4. Announcements This Friday will be the LAST day to get me anything you’re missing! I’m talking to those who have yet to hand in their shortest stories, and/or the rewrites!! Please returned ALL borrowed books to me by Friday as well. Remember, this short story assignment is a 100 point summative; don’t blow it off! It will kill your grade if you do! Short Story rewrites will be due no later than Friday May 31 st Word Count for short stories: 700 (250 MIN)

5. Short Story Pre Planning Today is the first day of brainstorming. Today you should organize plot ideas, characters, twists, and genre. Tomorrow: Start rough draft Wednesday: Have a complete rough draft for peer editing Thursday: Begin drafting final Friday: Stories are due TYPED.
