Prayer to the Spirit of Truth
Holy Spirit, You are the promised Spirit of Truth, constantly revealing the splendor of truth to Your people, and leading us deeper into the Mysteries of our Faith. Come to us today, and deepen in our minds and hearts the truth about life: its greatness, its dignity, its reflection of the eternal God. Make us appreciate ever more the truth that life is always a good, and that every life is of equal dignity, despite all the different characteristics people have, or the different circumstances under which they come to be. Come, Spirit of Truth. Free all Your people from the falsehoods that lead to the evil of abortion. Free them from the false and harmful ideas which make a god out of their own choices, or which fail to recognize the right to life of children in the womb. Come, O Holy Spirit, and as You immerse us in Your truth, so make us effective witnesses of that truth within our families, among our friends, and to all the world. Amen.

Point #3 Human kind is Created in the image of God

Cathechism says… 355: Catechism of the Catholic Church; "God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them". Man occupies a unique place in creation: (I) he is "in the image of God"; (II) in his own nature he unites the spiritual and material worlds; (III) he is created "male and female"; (IV) God established him in his friendship.

356: Catechism of the Catholic Church; Of all visible creatures only man is "able to know and love his creator" He is "the only creature on earth that God has willed for its own sake," and he alone is called to share, by knowledge and love, in God's own life. It was for this end that he was created, and this is the fundamental reason for his dignity.

2319: Catechism of the Catholic Church; Every human life, from the moment of conception until death, is sacred because the human person has been willed for its own sake in the image and likeness of the living and holy God.

Genesis: 1:26-28 Genesis: 9:6 Ecclesiasticus: 17:1-4;

Human kind IN MARRIAGE SHOULD PROCREATE
Point #4 Human kind IN MARRIAGE SHOULD PROCREATE

Catechism says… 2367: Catechism of the Catholic Church; "Called to give life, spouses share in the creative power and fatherhood of God. Married couples should regard it as their proper mission to transmit human life and to educate their children; they should realize that they are thereby cooperating with the love of God the Creator and are, in a certain sense, its interpreters. They will fulfill this duty with a sense of human and Christian responsibilities.“

2371: Catechism of the Catholic Church; "Let all be convinced that human life and the duty of transmitting it are not limited by the horizons of this life only: Their true evaluation and full significance can be understood only in reference to man's eternal destiny."

Genesis: 1:28 Genesis 9:1 Genesis 28:3

Scripture speaks of unborn children
Point #6 Scripture speaks of unborn children

Genesis: 25: 23-24 Exodus: 13:1-2 Exodus 13:12 Tobit: 4:4 Job 10:16 Psalms: 22:9-10 Ecclesiasticus: 50:22-24 Isaiah: 49:1

Point #7 you shall not take innocent life

Catechism says… 2270 Catechism of the Catholic Church; Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his or her existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person - among which is the inviolable right of every innocent human being to life.

2271 Catechism of the Catholic Church; Since the first century the church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to moral law.

You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish. God, the Lord of life , has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes.

2261 Catechism of the Catholic Church; Scripture specifies the prohibition contained in the fifth commandment: "Do not slay the innocent and the righteous". The deliberate murder of an innocent person is gravely contrary to the dignity of the human being, to the golden rule, and to the holiness of the Creator. The law forbidding it is universally valid: it obliges each and everyone, always and everywhere.

2258 Catechism of the Catholic Church; "Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains for ever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end. God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its end: no one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being."

Genesis: 6:11 Exodus: 20:13 Exodus: 23:7 Deuteronomy: 19:13 Deuteronomy: 32:39 Ecclesiates: 4:1-4; Daniel: 13:54 Matthew: 27:3-4;
