2 Who Was Dr. Seuss Dr. Seuss was an interesting person. He was born on March 2, 1904 and he was named Theodor Geisel. Geisel graduated from Dartmouth Collage in 1925. He wanted to write books, his first book was And to think I saw it on Mulberry Street. That started his career. He called himself Dr. Seuss when he wrote his books. Seuss wrote and illustrated 47 books. He loved to write and was loved by many children who read his books.

3 Did You Know? That on some of his books he put Theo LeSieg as the author? That is his last name spelled backwards. Geisel went to Paris? His first successful career was in advertising?

4 My Favorite Dr. Seuss Book My favorite book is How The Grinch Stole Christmas. This is my favorite book because I love Christmas time. In the book I love the little dog, Max, he is so cute. I like when the Grinch brings the presents back to Who Ville. It’s happy.

5 Dr. Seuss Quote One of my favorite quotes of Dr. Seuss is “A person’s a person no matter how small. To me this quote means that no matter how big or small you are, you will always be a person.
