Friday afternoon the “COST WG5 Splinter Meeting” will be held in conjunction with the workshop.

3. WORKSHOP PROCEEDINGS All presented papers (oral and poster) will be considered for publication under standard refereeing procedures in the International Conference Proceedings Series of the American Institute of Physics (AIP). We are happy to offer a free copy to each workshop participant after the proceedings papers are in print. 5. SOCIAL PROGRAMME Lunch and Coffee/Tea Breaks On all five days of the workshop you will be served a hot lunch in the University cafeteria. Both lunch and coffee/tea breaks during the workshop are covered with the registration fee. Special Lecture and Welcome Reception On Monday evening June 23 Prof. Jean-Francois Santucci, University of Corsica, Corte, France will give the special lecture “Research Topics at the University of Corsica”. This will be followed by the Welcome Reception including a buffet and drinks. Workshop Excursion to the "Region du Niolu" On Wednesday afternoon June 25 there will be an organized excursion to the beautiful Niolu region. There will be two busses each with an English- speaking guide. It is hot on Corsica during this time of year and the Sun is strong (sun glasses and sunblock lotion are recommended). Workshop Dinner On Friday evening June 27 the workshop will end with the Workshop Dinner. The dinner includes a welcome drink, three course “Corsican” dinner, coffee and drinks.

6. SOCIAL PROGRAMME Organized Hike in "La Vallee du Tavignano" On Saturday June 28 there is an organized hike in the lovely Tavignano Valley for those workshop participants who have signed up (not included in the workshop registration fee). The hike includes a professional English- speaking guide. Remember to bring your hiking boots, sun glasses and sunblock lotion!!! The hike will begin in the morning and finish at the end of the day. It is an all day hike and includes a picnic lunch (food and drinks).
