3 Staffing: Living Donor team PRE : 4.4 Living Donor RNs 3.4 dedicated to LD work up 1 ALL (LD) recipient work up and PKE/NKR 3.5 AA POST changes: 6.4 RNS 3.4 dedicated to LD work up 1 RN ~ PKE/NKR/ABOi 1 RN ~ recipient work up 1 RN Intake for LD 3.5 AA team

4 Changes: Dedicated RN for intake/donor history review-> MD on front end to screen results-> Allows donor coordinators to work with suitable donors only. Having a dedicated Exchange Coordinator-> Allocates time to Internal Exchange program. Allows Team to provide better care to compatible pairs. ITL changes XMs are more clearly reported and simplified histocompatibility reviews via email XM at second step

5 Process Flow: Intake LD RN reviews ALL hhq Talk to all patients about PKE Local lab tests Blood/urine etc BP readings Labs reviewed with MD~ protocols Once clear first tests Hand off to next RN ~ set up UCSF Donor Work Up

6 Living Donor Facilitator Meet with new Evaluation patients during their initial eval clinic appointment Provide information about Living Donation Provide “languaging” to conduct THE ask
