1 Karl Marx Marx was born in Germany in 1818. In the 19th century,he led the worker’s movement. Together with Engels, in 1848, Marx wrote the book “Communist Manifesto”. In 1864, he founded the First Inter- national base in London. He published “Das Kapital” in 1867. He devoted all his life to revolutionary cause. (1818-1883)
