State of labour market depends on Economic position, no. Of people with skills, levels of unemployment : tight labour market Since 2008: loose labour market > 2 million employed in 2006 in Ireland 1.86 million employed in 2010 and declining Unemployment 3.6% (2001); 4.3% (2006); 11.9% (2009); 13.4% (2010) and rising
