24. Test the packet connection First, turn on the VHF Packet Client

25. Test the packet initialization Next, select the packet client

26. Test the packet initialization Next, the TNC should initialize properly – if it doesn’t check cables, baud rate. Make sure you have the right TNC selected in the AIRMAIL setup. If it still doesn’t initialize, you may not have updated EPROMS in your TNC and the HOST mode is not supported. You need to get updated firmware.
