3. Do you feel like royalty? How do we understand the term “royal priesthood”? What is royal about us?

4. God Is King of Kings 1 Timothy 6:15 -- God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords… Jesus is King of Kings Revelation 17:14 -- …the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings….

5. Revelation 19:16 -- On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

6. Jesus is Heir of All Things Hebrews 1:2 -- but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

10. Understanding Our Priestly Duties 1 Peter 2:9 -- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

11. We are a HOLY priesthood offering SPIRITUAL sacrifices 1 Peter 2:5 -- you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
