3 Broad aims improved cooperation and exchange of information between professional bodies, experts, and victim support organisations development of good practice guidelines for psychosocial aid to victims development of a European network/database of accredited expertise training for professionals.

4 Activities Expert conference in London Two sensitisation seminars aimed at developing good practice guidelines for professionals (Madrid and London) A training seminar (Rome or Brussels) European wide network of experts who will be accessible through a flexible and interactive database Spanish Pilot Project for victims involved in judicial proceedings

5 COP Madrid activities Training of professionals On line training course Support for victims in the judicial system Evaluation of the psychological assistance provided to victims

6 London Conference Invited expert conference 17 – 18 January 2008 London keynote speeches from the major European experts, informal networking opportunities and breakout sessions Each Member Association will be invited to send one official delegate (Flight, conference fee, hotel and subsistence funded by the EC) and one self-funded delegate Official delegate most likely to be the representative on the EFPA SC Disasters, trauma and crises all enquiries to ecp@bps.org.uk

7 Products Creation of a network of organisations of professionals and victim support organisations. Creation and updating of a data-base, including all the links useful to make it available for sudden use when required. Creation of good practice guidelines for adult and child victims of terrorism Professionals thoroughly trained to support victims Improved cooperation and exchange between relevant agencies

8 Member Associations support Identify a representative for the EFPA SC Respond to requests for information from the Project Administrator re –Local experts –Information for the database –Translating some questions for the collection of information
