3 Signal Digitization Analog Holds a Lot of Information The Analog Signal: A Closer Look Can a computer represent an infinite number of values? Amplitude The amplitude can take on an infinite number of possible values Time To get an exact copy of the signal, an infinite number of samples must be taken.
