A failure to properly plan for the integrated response may lead to a less effective mission execution.
Example: Failure to account for the maritime presence during the response to hurricane Katrina contributed to significant issues with spectrum management.
The NGB JCCC helps to facilitate and coordinate the employment of C4 resources nation-wide.

3. 2009 Presidential Inauguration Joint Force Communications
This year’s Inauguration marked the 1st planned event in which the Chief, National Guard Bureau was responsible to the SecDef for the facilitation and coordination of the use of the non-federalized National Guard is support of homeland missions.
