19 How to meet WG milestones more efficiently/effectively ● Over the past year, we’ve been less than 50% accurate at meeting milestones. ● Some delays are due to dependencies on other docs. ● Other delays due to lack of cycles on behalf of doc editors. ● Other delays could be attributed to newness of WG milestone tracking in spreadsheet.

20 How to meet WG milestones more efficiently/effectively ● Proposal on list to move delayed docs to end of queue to avoid ripple of milestone changes: ● Mailing list feedback thus far has been supportive. ● This model is reflected in some of the updated milestones proposed.

21 How to meet WG milestones more efficiently/effectively ● Other options: ● More regular pings from chairs on upcoming milestones (not preferred by chairs given accessibility of information in spreadsheet). ● More regular updates (bi-weekly) of spreadsheets to prompt doc editors (including doc editors Name in the email summary and cc’ing doc editors) ● Longer term, tools that would automatically generate emails to doc editors with updated dates (ala tools for docs post-WG).

22 How to meet WG milestones more efficiently/effectively ●
