2. TITLE III: MACT Standards 1990 CAAA direct EPA to set standards for all major sources of HAPS (and some area sources that are listed under the Urban Air Toxics Strategy - UATS). Promulgated 94 MACT Standards for Major Sources Promulgated Area Source Standards addressing all 70 source categories required by the UATS 2

Title III Update: Risk and Technology Reviews (RTR) Section 112(f)(2) of the CAA directs EPA to conduct risk assessments on each source category subject to MACT, and to determine if additional standards are needed to address residual risks. Section 112(d)(6) of the CAA requires EPA to review and revise the MACT standards, as necessary, taking into account developments in practices, processes, and control technology 3

4.
