4 Selected Measure must demonstrate: – Growth in student achievement using at least two measures over time – Has standardized administration and scoring – Valid for stated purpose – Recorded student level data available from archive DCAS design features include: – All enrolled students will participate in three assessments in 2010-2011, and up to four assessments in 2011-2012 and future – Adaptive test administration plan with test blueprint and standardized scoring – Valid measure of student growth on standards and GLEs – Data storage and score reporting mechanism reports data at state, district, school, grade, class, and student levels

5 DCAS will measure Delaware standards and grade level expectations in reading, mathematics, social studies and science Online, Adaptive Designed to measure student growth within the school year and between school years Student scores will be available within days of students completed assessment session- the system updates as students finish the test

6 Online Reports will provide educators with views at district, school, grade, content area, class and student level Data comparison at all levels at specific points in time (test administration) and over time
